About The Event
Mallacoota's acclaimed author Bruce Pascoe, Yuin Budawang Tasmania and Noel Butler, Budawang Elder from the Yuin Nation, are joined by award winning wine writer, Max Allen, to openly talk about the changing attitudes to Indigenous land management, the harvest of food and the way food and drink have been used in Australia for millenia. This powerful and confronting conversation will aslo cover pathways how non indigenous people can engage in the groundswell of change that looks to the first nations for leadership in this time of great change.Â
Hosted by The Age and Sydney Morning Herald food writer Richard Cornish, this unique evening also includes food by Gippsland Daughters Alejandro Seravia along with local brewers Chris and Gab Moore of Sailors Grave Brewing and local winery Lightfoot and Sons.
